BENEO Plant Gains International Food Standard Certification
BENEO plant in Pemuco receives high score of 99.36% in first IFS audit
March 2011 - BENEO is pleased to announce that its plant in Pemuco, Chile, has been awarded its first International Food Standard (IFS) certification, with an impressive score of 99.36%. The IFS certification, recognised by Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), supports BENEO’s goal to become the preferred partner of choice for functional ingredients customers.
BENEO’s plants in Belgium, Germany and Chile are audited on a yearly basis and all impressively received their highest scores to date. BENEO plants in Oreye and Offstein also received notably high scores, with Oreye rated at 97% and Offstein at 99,89%.
